Introduction:
On Tuesday 19 April at 12 pm London time and 7 pm Beijing time, Mr Stephen Cook, Senior Tutor at the University of Buckingham, will be speaking at BISE's online Open Day focusing on the University's PGCE Programme.
This PGCE Programme is not only one of the most popular courses of its kind available in the UK but also provides a gateway to working in UK-based schools and many international schools outside the UK. Watch the video below to learn more about the PGCE Programme at the University of Buckingham.
During the event, you will have the opportunity to find out all the specific details about the University of Buckingham's PGCE online programme, which is a 37-week school-based course, available in most subjects and age levels (Grade 1 - 12). While it is an online programme, during the programme, trainee teachers will work under the guidance of a mentor (appointed by the school in which they work) and receive monthly tutorials, as well as weekly observation between the trainee and their mentor to review progress and set targets.
This programme is the leading course of its kind available in the UK. The successful trainee teachers will be awarded the 'Postgraduate Certificate in Education' (not IPGCE) on the course completion from the University of Buckingham. To learn more about this programme, its application requirements, delivery and assessment methods, and how you will be supported by our specialist tutors who are both academics and experienced teachers, please visit the link and register for this online event and join our interactive discussions.
