It has been an amazing learning journey with BISE and it was the best decision I could have made for my future career in teaching, especially while working in China.

The best aspect of the program is the continuous development and mentorship provided by the university tutor and school mentor that enabled me to establish a weekly professional development routine in which my teaching practice has evolved into outstanding.

This program is highly recommended not only to the graduate teachers but also to teachers who want to enhance their teaching skills and abilities at any experience stage, as it provides a thorough focus on teaching and learning within the international context and over all subjects.

First of all, I would like to thank the School of Education of the University of Buckingham for offering such an excellent course in China, as well as the academic guidance and support of the school where I work. In this course, I came into contact with the educational concepts and methods of the UK, and many of these valuable learning contents are the most scientific, practical and even advanced educational concepts at present.

What I gained the most was the establishment and development of critical thinking.Learning this course is like opening a door to our life, giving us the opportunity to maintain lifelong learning in the field of education and to increase the key opportunities for personal career planning. If you are bilingual and want to become a bilingual teacher in an international school, this course will provide you with the professional knowledge and practical experience to help you achieve your dream.

I would definitely recommend a PGCE, however the quality and type of course vary greatly between universities. The PGCE program at BISE provides an excellent opportunity for those living and working in China who aspire to be bilingual teachers in this era of global COVID epidemics.
